Jereme is a native of Georgia.  He graduated from Gwinnett Tech in 2010 earning his RVT certification.  Jereme has three dogs - Chip, Monkey and Trudy, who are all miniature dachshunds.  In regard to veterinary medicine, Jereme said his interests are in emergency medicine, parasitology and infectious diseases.  When not working, Jereme plays trombone, enjoys fishing and loves cars.  He is on The Village Vets - Lilburn-St. Mtn team as well as the emergency team at The Village Vets - Decatur.


Noelle Plumer, RVT

Noelle has been working in the veterinary profession since 1996. She studied Biology and Fine Arts at The University of Georgia and became a Registered Veterinary Technician after she attended Gwinnett Technical College's Veterinary Technology Program. She has twin daughters, Reese and Amelia, that were born in 1997. She also shares her home with 4 dogs and 2 cats. Her hobbies include running, photography, painting and taking trips to the beach. She enjoys dermatology and emergency care in veterinary medicine. She also likes educating owners on behavioral issues and preventative care for their pets. She is very passionate about animal rescue and has been involved in it for many years.

Why she does this: "I have really enjoyed working with The Village Vets staff and clients. All the doctors in the practice have a wonderful bedside manner and take care of everyone's pets like they are their own."

Shondell Anderson

Shondell moved to the Atlanta area, with his college sweetheart in 2000; whom he married in 2007.  Shondell and his wife have a son, (8/10).  Before joining The Village Vets Team, Shondell worked at the Yerkes National Primate Research Center at Emory University in Atlanta.  Shondell and his family have two dogs, Grady and Honey.

Why he does this:  "I am proud to be a member of The Village Vets family".

 

Bailey Jones

A native of the Atlanta area, Bailey was born in Snellville and grew up in Lilburn - with her parents, two brothers, Brandon and Blake, and sister, Blair.  Bailey began working on her major in Biology at Auburn University and is currently finishing up at Georgia State, majoring in both Biology and English Literature.  She enjoys spending time with family, particularly watching the Auburn Tigers, as Bailey is an avid Auburn sports fan.  Bailey has 3 dogs, Rip, Riley – both mix breeds, and Keito, an American Eskimo and 4 cats –  Sassy, Blaze, Toby, and Cinco. 

Bailey has been a member of the National Art Honor Society, National Scholars Association, and Phi Theta Kappa, a honors society for junior colleges.

Why she does this?  “The Village Vets – Lilburn-Stone Mountain gives me the opportunity to work with animals and further my education in becoming a vet”.

Austin Hughes

Austin was born in Newark, NJ, moved to Atlanta in 2001, and graduated from high school two years later. He has 2 brothers and 2 sisters who also live in Atlanta. After graduation, Austin returned to New Jersey to attend Raritan Valley Community College, where he took courses to become a veterinary technician and later studied biology at Rutgers University. It was at that time that Austin began working in his desired field of pet healthcare – his first position a pet nurse at a veterinary hospital. In 2006 Austin returned to Atlanta and lives in the Stone Mountain area. Austin and his partner have five dogs and one cat. In his spare time, Austin enjoys swimming, exercising, taking his dogs to the park, relaxing with friends and rescuing dogs from the streets.
